is approximately 15 months old now and likes to hang out in the shower! She spends a lot of time playing with Brody (her brother the cat) and remains very intrigued by Trixie (her sister the bunny). A.J. also likes to reach up with her paws to signal that she wants to be picked-up, she is like a “human baby” herself !

A nice lady found me hungry wandering in the street and took me in to feed me because the storm was coming.  Then Hurricane Sandy hit and we were floating around her apartment hanging on to furniture for dear life before we were rescued by the fire department.  She lost her home and so did I until Second Chance took me.

I’m a beautiful young Russian Blue male who was abandoned at a feral colony in Hempstead. I’m sweet and playful. You won’t have to go far to find me. I will follow you all around. I love to talk but know my place and speak when spoken to.
I may have been abandoned because I had an eye condition where the eye lashes grew the wrong way on the inside of the eye lids. This continually scratches the eyes and makes them look red and infected. I had both eyes restored with a procedure called entropion eye repair. Now my eye lashes no longer grow inside my eye lids and no longer scratch my eyes. I’m ready for my forever home. Come to meet me at Second Chance!

I was abandoned at a feral colony. I guess they thought I would be accepted by the other cats and would be fed by the care taker. Unfortunately the ferals chased me away from the food and I went hungry until I was saved by a rescuer. They brought me to Second Chance to find a home.

I think I’m the more handsome of us. I’m a light grey tabby with white bib and paws. Bob and I keep amused playing with the same toy. We will keep you amused and give you lots of love too. Just take us home and see how well we make your home complete.

I’m a bobbed tailed cat, meaning my tail is short like a bunny’s tail. I’m a pretty mellow fellow and I like to hang out and pal around with my brother Shiska. I’m a soft, furry and a big brown tabby with white bib and paws.

I am a bottle baby that survived being separated from my mom. She never came back for me and we don’t know what happened to her. Second Chance bottle fed me until I was able to eat on my own and now I have a healthy appetite. I love to play, jump around in my cage and climb all over. I am just the cutest little boy and will grow up and be a handsome dude.

The people who owned me moved away and left me in the empty apartment. The landlord put me outside and the neighbor took me in to help me find a home. The neighbor was very kind and knew I had been left behind.
